Prophets

The other day I was watching a show on the History Channel. If you watch the History Channel, you probably already know which one I am talking about, because every 10 seconds they played a commercial about the show.

The show was on Nostradamus, and this newly discovered book that might be his. It is not like his other books at all, because it has water color illustrations. The pictures depict many of his "prophecies".

This got me starting to think a little. I wonder, can a non believer have the ability to prophecy? Prophecy is a spiritual gift (1 Corinthians 2:10), so that would mean that a non-believer has spiritual gifts. Now at this moment, I am unsure when we are given spiritual gifts. I know that they can change if they are not used, but when do we receive such gifts? At human birth or spiritual birth?

I am nearly 100% sure that the devil is not able to create "spiritual gifts" however I am sure that he is able to manipulate them, or those who have them.

What are your thoughts on this topic?

Hello Layneh,

If you'd like to truly understand what's happening with the recent comet events and Nostradamus' Lost Manuscript synchronicity, then pay close attention.

Following is an excerpt from the prophecy I posted worldwide in April of 2006 and reposted on August 11th, 2007, which happens to be my birthday and during the Perseid meteor showers (cometary debris in Perseus...). Notice that Comet 17P (seventeen) Holmes is now in the constellation Perseus?

"Tearful pit dwellers, shaken mightily by the light, ascend from the abyss before a seventeen-star-filled wind."

"A bearded star roars so fiercely that the city upon seven lowly hills quakes grievously, wailing tearfully about shadowy serpentine dens and rocks. Scorched alive by stellar wind, they shamefully drink about double doubled horns afire, long hidden within the golden altar’s simple ark."

Think this is a mere coincidence?

Notice that the sum of the digits of 12/21/2012=11?

Also read Nostradamus' Quatrain 2:41...

God uses who He chooses to use. I don't see why he couldn't use a non-believer. I bears more thought, I think...

What are you quoting, your personal prophecy or Nostradamus'?

My apologies but your writing seem more confusing than informative. I am sure that since you know what it is your trying to describe, you understand, however I know not what you quote or refer to.

Please elaborate seven star hand.

I haven't really studied this, but I would tend to agree with Billium. Romans 9 tells us of God using anyone of his creations for any given purpose. I don't honestly know anything about Nostrudomis, but I believe God can use unbelievers just as he uses believers.

Was Balaam a believer? He spoke with YHWH and was certified 100% accurate in his prophecies. But was he a believer?

I don't think that there is anymore revelation given after the Bible. So I guess the only question I would have is if there is an example and Geppy gave one of Balaam.
