Fellowship
II Cornintians 4:4 says "For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake."
I cannot help but this about this, in conjunction with Acts 2:42-47:
"42They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
Timm, Craig and myself often disagree with each other on the ideology of once saved always saved, predestination as well as on other things. When I read over this verse, I cannot help but wonder if these same differences were around during Christ's time. If they were, how could so many people gather while setting aside their differences?
I wonder if they knew an answer to this great debate, or if they didn't even worry about it. I am certain that we both believe that this is part of Christ's message, but I wonder how the Apostles would have handled it.

The talked and discussed things.
Sounds like you guys do the same thing.
"The" should be "They"
During Jesus' day, they couldn't even agree on whether there was a resurrection. Jesus showed the answer to that question, but it just goes to show that Solomon was correct: there is nothing new under the sun; what is has always been.
Think about this. God the Father also know as Abba Father to his children. God created Dads. A father's children once born in this world can not be divided from having a father. A child will always have a Father. A father will as have the child. They may not see thinks clearly, good or bad the child can not separate himself from the father.
If God can create this, could it be that he patterned this after His own plan of salvation. Once a person is born into the family of God. The child has a Heavenly Father, Abba Father. Nothing can separate the Father and the child. God may not be please with the task of the child, but God says he will never leave or forsake His children. Just a thought
A Dad
Good thought "Dad."
