Tribulation Recognizability part 2

Continuing where we left off...

When we look at Daniel 9, start at verse 20. Verse 20-23 is an introduction to the situation. In verse 24, Daniel is telling us the answer he was given. Verse 25 the angel Gabriel makes it clear that what follows is important to know and understand.

Verse 25-27 ""Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven 'sevens,' and sixty-two 'sevens.' It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. After the sixty-two 'sevens,' the Anointed One will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."

Okay, verses 25&26 are a little easier read in KJV:

"Know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem until the Messiah the Prince, shall be seven weeks and threescore and two weeks; the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublesome times.
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself; and the people of the prince who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And the end thereof shall be with a flood, and until the end of the war desolations are determined."

The difficult part here is knowing when the decree, or commandment was given, and what that decree of commandment was. As I read through many commentaries on Daniel 9:25, it is apparent that this is received many different ways.

I believe that no one knows what this could be, however it is obviously very significant, for a couple reasons.

1. It is a fulfilled prophecy from Isaiah65:24. ("Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.") It is also to note that Daniel writes "While I was speaking and praying"(verse 20) and "while I was still in prayer" (verse 21) making sure there is no confusion.
2. Gabriel was in a hurry to get there. "Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight" (verse 21)
3. As soon as Daniel started to pray, God gave him an answer, to which God then commanded Gabriel to deliver quickly. "As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given" (verse 23).

Back to the time framing issues:

It should be noted that the times given should be separated into 3 groups, 70 "sevens" in total. The first group would be 7 "sevens", the second group would be 62 "sevens", and the third group would be 1 "seven". So there are three things going on here.

It has been suggested that the first group, or 7 "sevens" points to the edict of Cyrus, allowing the return of Israel from exile and the restoration of Jerusalem.

The 62 "sevens", as I understand it, would reference the time when “Jerusalem shall be built so that the city takes in a wide space, has wide, free places, but not, however, unlimited in width, but such that their compass is measured off, is fixed and bounded.”

The last group, 1 "seven" would reference the ruler who destroys the city (stated in verse 26 "The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary"). Verse 27 says "He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him."

My Thoughts:

The first seven, is referring to the edict Cyrus gave. This is important because "the LORD moved the heart of Cyrus" (2 Chronicles 36:22)

The 62 sevens would refer to when Israel received their independence in 1948. Declaring the last seven would occur in 2010.

The last seven would then reference a major war, where Jerusalem is destroyed. Take a look back at Matthew 24:15&16 "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains."

Now you are probably thinking, “Layne has gone crazy.” But wait! There’s more!!

2010 is the last of the 62. the last of the seven would start then in 2011, and finish in 2012. How is this significant? Nostradamus predicted the end of the world in 2012; The Mayan calendar also predicted the same.

Remarkably, if 2012 ends the 70 sevens, and IF you were a believer in the Pre-Trib theories.... 2012 is an election year for America and Russia.

Lastly let us take the Bible as 100% truth:

Mark 13:32 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

Matthew 24:36 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

The year is never mentioned.

Tribulation Recognizability part 1

After watching the video I posted earlier a couple times, it hit me that they are also using Matthew 24, but the verse they use is 27. This made me go back and look at the chapter again.

God is sending us a warning, and I dont think we are truly getting it. When I read verses 6-8, I see things that are happening now, or the "birth pains".

Verses 6 through 8 say: "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains." (emphasis added)

We are in the birth pain stage right now. I do not need to give the examples, just turn on your TV. So this part of scripture has already come true... what comes next is a new paragraph. This tells me that once the first part has started, we move on to "bigger things".

Verse 9 states "Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me."

So the next step in this time line is Christian persecution, or a pre-tribulation resurrection. Either or, thats all it can be. Either Christ is going to come and get us, or we will be faced with persecution and death. Are Christians being persecuted today?

Verse 10-14: "At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

Persecution will cause many to flee from their faith. God will sort out the true believers from the rest. If this is a pre-trib scenario, then I imagine it will be the family members of a Christian that recognizes what happened. If it is a post-trib scenario, it will seperate true believers from Sunday Christians.

The thing that really sticks out to me is the recognizable act of love. As soon as I read it I heard the song by Jars of Clay, "They will know we are Christians by our love." (if you have not heard this, you need to. It carries the eeriness that comes with the rapture.)

Verse 15 carries a telling sign: "So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand—" (emphasis added)

"the abomination that causes desolation" or that abominable thing, which threatened and brought desolation upon the city, temple, and nation. Referring to Luke 21:10 runs parallel saying: "When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near." Matthew 24:15 has a note to look at Daniel 9:27.

Part 2 will start with Daniel 9.

Something Worth Listening To

Today was a day of struggling for me, spiritually speaking. I have a few things to share here, and I am not fully sure where to start, I guess I will follow some sort of time line.

This morning I was struggling with sin. For some reason it hit me as soon as I woke up. I thought that if I went back to sleep for a little while, it would go away. Nope, it was still haunting me as I woke up... again. So I sat on the side of the bed thinking of ways to preoccupy myself so my mind would not focus on it.

When that didn't work, I decided I should kneel for my morning prayer. It seemed superficial, and I felt as though something was missing. So I moved to my next devotional study in the morning: E-sword. I like to read the daily devotional by Charles Surgeon, sometimes it gives me great ideas for writing or just a good thought for the day. Today was an exception. It was something I totally disagreed with. On to my email, yet still I heard that sinful voice calling me.

It wasn't until after I gave in that I felt close to God. It wasn't until I crucified Christ again that I felt like He was with me. I asked God for forgiveness, and believe that I was, as I truly am regretful for my sins.

As I went on with my daily routine, I checked a friends blog, who seemed to have a rough day yesterday. I offered a sincere resolution in his comments (which feels wrong and two faced now that I look back at what I wrote).

I went in to work, and on my drive I successfully drove according to the laws, and was able to pray with God and ask why I struggled this morning. I didn't get much response outside of the fact that He loved me, even though I sin, which was encouraging.

As I get home and able to look at other responses on Timm's blog, I see J Razz left a comment. As I read it, it didn't seem to fit with the subject Timm was talking about (in my opinion), however something jumped our at me.

"'You need to love Jesus more than you love your selfish sin." and "He urged me to seek out ways to love Christ more than sin." (thank you J Razz for sharing)

God had given me my answer, and I believe that is why I struggled this morning. That is why I couldn't hear Him, why I felt distance. I had stepped away from God, because I loved my selfish sin more than I loved God. And let me tell you, it is aweful to hear those words in my mouth. I know how horrible it is to betray someone I love, and then there is this: betraying the Creator of all. Christ, who loves me so much He died for me, and I don't love Him enough to turn from sin.

ER's Atonement Scene on NBC

I don't normally post videos, I leave that to Craig, but this one is worth it. This clip came from the TV show E.R. on NBC, and I think this patient does a good job telling the "pastor" whats on his mind. I love it when he tells her the “new age God is love, one size fits all” statement.

I found this on a blog I have started to check more regularly, Blasted Gourds. Some really good stuff over there, worth taking a look at.

Following the Signs

Romans 13:1-7 says: "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God's servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God's servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God's servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor."

Recently my wife and I were talking while driving. I made a comment in jest about how she needs to stop at the stop sign, because she is sinning if she doesn't.

She then pointed out how I speed, often. So today I decided to go the speed limit all the way into work. Part of my journey is only 30 mph mind you, and I am used to driving the back country roads which are marked at 55 mph. Anyway, it was difficult to drive slow. I had to make a conscious effort to go the speed limit.

On the way home, I seem to speed more. I had to set cruise control so I wouldn't speed. So this makes me wonder, if we are commanded to follow the laws of the land, and since man puts a weight on sin (not God, all sin is equal in His eyes), I conclude that speeding is a sin.

Do you agree?

Fellowship

II Cornintians 4:4 says "For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake."

I cannot help but this about this, in conjunction with Acts 2:42-47:

"42They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."

Timm, Craig and myself often disagree with each other on the ideology of once saved always saved, predestination as well as on other things. When I read over this verse, I cannot help but wonder if these same differences were around during Christ's time. If they were, how could so many people gather while setting aside their differences?

I wonder if they knew an answer to this great debate, or if they didn't even worry about it. I am certain that we both believe that this is part of Christ's message, but I wonder how the Apostles would have handled it.

A New Adventure

Well I have been motivated to start a new adventure, something I have thought about doing, and said I would do for a long time now. I have started to write a book.

I dont want to give out too many details yet about the book, mostly because it is still strange to say that I am writing a book. I will say that I have prayed quite a bit about it, and have asked God to close doors to other options, if this is in fact what He wants me to do.

So far doors to other things are being closed, and it seems that He is offering new doors for this journey. The big issue is of course going to be money, but Amy & I trust that God will continue to provide for us.

Also, since I have never tried to publish anything I write, I am uncertain the steps to take. As for now, I know that I need to have a "product" to offer first, and so that is what I am working on.

I have a basic outline and title for it, and I have finished the rough draft to the first chapter. I am nearing completion of the second, and expect it to be completed shortly, time permitting.

As I head down this new avenue, please keep me in your prayers, that I will allow God to use me to put into print what He wants.

Just felt like writing.

This week has been difficult. Not so much because of the loss of my mother, more because of the realization that I cause my Saviors death.

On multiple occasions this week, I couldn't help but think about how I caused Christ to die. So many times I have heard that God sent Christ to the world to die for their sins, which includes mine. I have also heard that God would have sent Christ to die for the sins of this world, even if I was the only one here.

This week I felt like that was true. This week my sins put Christ Jesus on that rugged cross, I drove the nails into His hands and feet. This is not to say that I sinned more than usual, I guess it was just more real, the cost of sin.

The thing that really gets me, is that I give in to temptation even when I don't want to. This frustrates me more than most anything, especially when I know what it cost.

For once, I feel that I understand, and believe, that Christ would have came here, even if I was the only one.

My prayer is that Christ will continue to forgive me for driving those nails, piercing Gods flesh, while I go on allowing myself to sin. I am unworthy of such a great gift. I am unworthy to be called a son of God. I am unworthy.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

I am also struggling with why I am here, what purpose God has for me. I look at those around me, and see beauty. I see how God has used my mother, I am blessed to see how He is using my father. My brother has a beautiful girl he is raising, beside him a lovely wife.

My wife is brilliant, successful and stunning. I don't mean to sound like I am being hard on myself, Lord knows I am ever so thankful. I am feeling lost, and without a map. It feels like I am running in circles, and while I have food, water, and shelter, and God is still providing me with so much more. I just feel like I havent nailed it down yet.

Faith of a Child

Can you count all the things that I'm worried about
By the lines in my brow, I want to trust but don't know how;
To rest and be still, to abandon myself to your will
And I can't figure out what my time in this world is about

And this time I don't have an answer
But don't think that I haven't tried
I still have the heart of a seeker
But I need the faith of a child
oh, I need the faith of a child

I know Christ waits for me on the other side
of this life, But I, I wanna know why I'm alive
Cause I wander from the path so far
Would it be easier, easier to be where you are

And this time I don't have an answer
But don't think that I haven't tried
I still have the heart of a seeker
But I need the faith of a child
and this time I don't have an answer
But don't think that I haven't tried
I still have the heart of a seeker
But I need the faith of a child
I need the faith of a child

I wanna know what the truth is
and I don't care if its costly
I know there must be a reason
even if it cannot be known by me

And this time I don't have an answer
But don't think that I haven't tried
I still have the heart of a seeker
But I need the faith of a child
and this time I don't have an answer
But don't think that I haven't tried
I still have the heart of a seeker
But I need the faith of a child
I need the faith of a child

Can you say Hypocrite?

At a disarmament conference in Geneva yesterday, Russian and Chinese diplomats proposed a new draft treaty that would ban the deployment of space-based weapons.

The two countries have been pushing for talks on this issue since the beginning of the decade, largely against resistance from the United States.

This of course is all very interesting, because most "weapons" in space are merely spy satellites, that is with the exception of one satellite with a gun on it. Now here is the big question, who owns that satellite with the gun on it? Russia.

The satellite is called the Almaz 3. If you want to read about it in great depth, click here.

The major defects of space weaponry is that it is pretty much unprotected. We all hear about the constant repairing of our satellites due to debris, or sun damage, or some kind of meteor shower. The same would happen to these space weapons. (it is also important to note that defense systems, like anti-missle radars would be included in this definition)

Here is the real issue I see with this treaty: If America signs this treaty, we are limiting ourselves and research while succumbing to other nations authority, thus putting a stop sign on certain freedoms.

Even though they are weapons in space, in my opinion, it is like the Law of the Sea Treaty. If takes away from our freedoms and could hinder free markets. The moment we give up our authority to another country, or the United Nations, is the moment we sign off our freedom.

1 John 3:1-10

"1How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.

4Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. 5But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin. 6No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

7Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work. 9No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother."

Iranians mark revolution

Tens of thousands of Iranians rallied Monday (FEB. 11, 2008) to mark the 29th anniversary of the Islamic revolution. Almost three decades after the revolution, women in head-to-toe black chador and men shouted "Death to America," the ritual chant of the 1979 revolution which toppled the U.S.-backed Shah and swept the Shiite Muslim clergy to power.

"With this rally, Western countries will understand that they cannot impose their will on us and they see that we back our leader and government," Ali Salmani, 17, told Reuters in Tehran.

"America should understand and believe that the Iranian nation will not back down from its rights," said another demonstrator, Leila Jafari.

Others at the rally burnt effigies representing Uncle Sam.

Iran and the United States have not had diplomatic ties since shortly after the revolution, when hardline students seized the U.S. embassy and held 52 Americans hostage for 444 days.

Iranian officials had called on people to turn out in large numbers to show their unity in the face of Western pressure. State television broadcast live footage of major rallies held in other cities.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed the rally in Tehran, one week after Iran sparked international concern by test-launching a rocket designed to carry its first domestically made research satellite into orbit.

"God willing, next summer the first 100 percent Iranian-made satellite will be positioned in orbit," he said. The technology used to put satellites into space could also be used for launching weapons across continents.

Off to CPAC

"CPAC you say, Whats that?" CPAC stands for "Conservative Political Action Committee".

"I have never heard of it." Yah neither had I until I started paying more attention to politics, specifically the Republican party. Craig had gone last year with the MSU College Republicans (CR), had a blast, and was able to meet a lot of people.

"Who goes to CPAC?" Lots of people. Students, Congressmen & women, media figures, party members, and many more. For me, this is going to be a great time to learn about conservative ideas, so that I can get a better understanding. It will be great to hear from the top leaders of our country (President Bush, and V.P. Cheney both plan to be there), as well as learn from the candidates that are currently running for president.

"I don't care THAT much about politics." Thats cool, but I want to be informed about whats going on, so that I can become more active, thus allowing me to help shape this country and economy.

"Ha! You will never be able to do that" I vote, therefore I do "do that".

People that attend CPAC are most likely people that are invested in conservative ideas and politics. It is like a Star Wars convention for the Conservatives. With names like Newt Gingrich, Ann Coulter, Grover Norquist, Michelle Malkin, and dont forget Pres. Bush, VP Cheney, Congressman Ron Paul, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen. McCain, and many, many others I am sure to hear some new perspectives.

I hope to meet Newt Gingrich, and have him sign my book, and the same goes for David Horowitz, who's book I received from Craig last year, upon his return from CPAC. I also look forward to Mt. Vernon and Capitol Hill tours.

Here is the agenda, and website for this convention: CPAC Agenda

Housing Illegal Immigrants

I am against illegal immigration. I am about border control, and using the National Guard to do the job, if need be. I support enforcing the law, and I try to follow in the footsteps of Christ.

The Bench Stone blog brought up the topic of housing illegal immigrants, and it caused me to think a little deeper on the issue.

Slavery was wrong, is wrong, and is rightfully illegal.

What Tim had brought up was whether or not housing an illegal immigrant was Biblically wrong or not. I couldn't help but think about slavery, and the underground railroad that helped the slaves escape. If it is wrong to house an illegal alien, was it not also wrong to free a slave?

What is the difference between to two? Slaves were not really considered Americans, let alone human. What makes one Biblically right, and one wrong, or do you think that they are one in the same?

Huckabee to be McCain's VP?

There are starting to be a lot of rumors about this. I just heard today that Huckabee was allegedly offered a deal with McCain, to become his VP.

After hearing this, I did a couple of searches, and found a couple of hits. I didn't think too much of it until I turned on Fox news, with the Beltway Boys (Morton Kondracke and Fred Barnes). They were also commenting about this rumor.

They explained it as Huckabee taking votes away from Romney, the more conservative between he and McCain. It was also noted that out of five minutes of interview with Fox news, 3 of the minutes were used to downplay Romney.

Its no doubt that Huckabee is my favorite, he is the most conservative of the 3 GOP candidates, but I do not approve of McCain (or Romney for that matter).

I decided to take a visit to the McCain for President website, to find out his view on some issues. Everyone knows he is a big supporter of Bush's plan in Iraq, but we don't know too much more about him. Click here to read about where he stands on the issues. (My favorite was sanctity of life, watch his video *sarcasm*)

Huckabee is the conservative that would bring balance to McCain. He would be able to pull the more conservatives and real Republicans, while McCain pulls the moderates and independents. The big issue would then be who they are up against. Who would run with Hillary, and who would run with Obama? Both have run such nasty campaigns that they wouldn't run with each other... Edwards could run as a VP for either, but I dont know that it will help out too much.

Either way, how do you feel about, or what are you thoughts about a McCain/Huckabee ticket?

McCain, Revisited

So here is an interesting thought... Do you remember the conservatives railing on Giuliani for having 3 wifes? Do you remember the conservatives railing on Thompson, whos wife is what, 24 years his junior? Remember back when Newt Gingrich left his wife to marry another woman? It was though unconceivable that he would do such a thing while his wife was in the hospital, in a coma (correct me if I am wrong).

So now lets take another look at McCain, and what isn't really in the news. First off, John's wifes name is Cindy Lou Hensley, born in 1954. John was born in 1936, his wife is 18 years his junior. Haven't heard too many news programs putting that information out there.

Secondly, this is his second wife. John McCain was a 43-year-old naval liaison officer travelling with a congressional delegation, when he met his wife, a 25 year old, former Arizona rodeo beauty queen and daughter of a millionaire Phoenix businessman, James Hensley (who founded Hensley & Company(one of the largest Anheuser-Busch distributors in the nation) in 1955).

Did I mention he was currently married at the time he met Cindy? He was married, though separated, to Carol Shepp. Carol was originally a model out of Philadelphia. While he was a P.O.W. in Vietnam, she got into a automobile accident, she was thrown through her car's windshield and left seriously injured (by that I mean she is crippled). He soon left her after meeting Cindy, and married Cindy not even a year later.

What a guy I tell you... what a guy. So even though Giuliani is knocked around for three marriages, Thompson is knocked around for marrying someone over a decade and a half his age, and Gingrich is toughed up because of how he left his wife, if you combine them all, you have John McCain, and its all okay because he is "moderate".

Its no surprise why Ann Coulter wont support him, he isn't a true part of the Republican party, not by his life examples anyhow.

McCain... Conservative?

This is an article I stumbled across, that had a few words to say about McCain. As the GOP gets closer to selecting who they want as their primary candidate, it is important to understand each individual. I thought I would share Mr. Harward thoughts, which can also be read here.

"If John McCain is a Conservative, I am an astronaut, and the closest I have ever been to a space vehicle is some 300 miles up, and above our earth, as it passes over. What Sen. John McCain refers to as "comprehensive immigration reform", others refer to as "amnesty". A better description could be described is “Monopoly Immigration”. In the game of Monopoly, you pay $200.00 to get out of jail. Under John McCain’s plan, you pay $5,000.00 and you have just purchased American freedoms. Under the “illegal immigration” program which McCain is supporting, “illegal immigrants” come to America, usually with others’ stolen Social Security Number, and with that, maybe obtain another ID such as a “Drivers Operator’s License” from a state which issued “Operator’s License” to illegal immigrants, and they are on their way. The “illegal immigrants” are then able to use and abuse our hospitals, our other medical facilities, our Social Services, our public schools, etc., all at the expense of working Americans. These added costs prevent our own citizens from receiving their own adequate needs and services.

John McCain is to be commended for his service in the US Military, and especially as a “prisoner of war” in Vietnam. For God’s sake, do not allow Sen. McCain and others give away our precious freedoms so many have served for, and so many have given their lives for, especially for the criminal elements, which are now coming over the borders illegally. Americans supports legal immigration. Americans do not support illegal immigration.

Many of us have served and/or are currently serving in the US Military to protect our American Flag, our US Constitution, and the freedoms within. Over the history of our great nation’s history, over 600,000 soldiers have given their own life in the wars for these liberties. Shame on Sen. McCain and others who are willing to sell the values so many have served and died to protect.

Have you forgotten John McCain as a member of the “Gang of 14” US Senators who were to chastise President Bush for his appointments to the US Supreme Court? Have you forgotten Sen. McCain and the “Gang of 14” who were to decide on President Bush’s nominations prior to the US Senate?

Have you forgotten the McCain-Feingold legislation in the US Senate which allows the likes of billionaire George Soros who fund MoveOn.Org and recently funded an advertisement against General George Petraeus named ”General Petraeus or General Betray Us?” Have you forgotten all the funds George Soros has spent to destroy President George Bush and his administration? This legislation was co-authored by Republican Sen. John McCain and Democrat Sen. Russ Feingold. You can go to many other facts which prove Sen. John McCain is not a Conservative.

There is little difference, politically speaking, between US Presidential candidates Sen. John McCain and Sen. Hillary Clinton. The primary difference, which separates the two, is Republican Sen. McCain does support the “war on terrorism” while Democrat Sen. Clinton does not. Otherwise, you can check the record. John McCain is a Moderate to Liberal voting US Senator. Just as Democrat Sen. Joe Lieberman, both support the war on terrorism, but otherwise, are much more Liberal on almost any and all other issues.

Why did the mass TV and print media fail to, politically speaking, “bury” Sen. John McCain on the weekend news of January 26 through January 28, 2008 for “totally falsifying” Governor Mitt Romney’s remarks? The Liberal media love Sen. John McCain. To win, the “GOP can and must do much better”.

Is there any reason the likes of the New York Times and many others in the mass Liberal media support John McCain? Is there any other reason why leaders in the Democrat Party are hoping John McCain is the Republican Party nominee?

What is happening to America? What is happening to the GOP? As the Republican Party nominee, John McCain will lead the GOP to another loss in 2008."
